What to Do
This family-friendly resort has earned a reputation for making your vacations special by providing exceptional service with incredible tour guides. Each guest can take a snorkeling tour to “El Cielo,” which is included with your stay. Snorkeling in Cozumel is an amazing bucket-list adventure.
To see starfish, stingrays, and huge colorful fish that you didn’t even know existed up close is a memorable experience. Your family will be talking about it for months after you get home. Other group tours offered through the resort are relaxing bike rides, hikes through the jungle behind the resort, and touring the Chacchoben archaeological site.
If you want the simplicity of staying within the resort, Fiesta Americana Cozumel has plenty of activities to keep your entire family occupied. The resort has a magnificent reef that will have snorkelers in awe of the “Little Nemo and Dory” fish swimming around you. They also have an outdoor pool and a children’s pool. Stick around for the entertainment in the pool area under your free cabana to watch and join in on the fun.
Some of the entertainment activities you can participate in during the day around the pool, garden, and lobby are yoga, croquet, aqua gym, volleyball, bingo, craft making, and dancing lessons you can show off in the mini disco at night. You can also enjoy some family time in the game room playing pool, air hockey, foosball, ping-pong, and even board games.
The Fiesta Kids Club is for the little ones to have fun, play, and do crafts for a few hours during the day while the parents can enjoy adult time. The kids are busy painting, making crafts, pool games, marco polo, bingo, water balloons, diving for coins, and a kid’s lunch.
Guests can enjoy relaxation and pampering at the Na’ha Spa. This full-service spa offers facials, deep tissue massages, citrus scrubs, aromatherapy, manicures/pedicures, reflexology, and more. You can also do a mommy-and-daughter day at the spa. Your little girl can get the mermaid package or mini spa day like yours. Spa services are not included in the all-inclusive rate.
What to Eat & Drink
Fiesta Americana Cozumel All Inclusive has five on-site dining options: the Peninsula, the Rosato, El Mexicano, La Cevicheria, and Vina Del Mar. There are also three bars, the Swim Up Bar, Lobby, Beach Bar, Coffee Counter, and El Grill. You can enjoy a-la-carte and buffet dining all day and then enjoy a leisurely international dinner in the evening while enjoying the Caribbean sunset.
Vina Del Mar is the resort’s only self-serve restaurant; you won’t go hungry with all the choices. Enjoy fabulous Caribbean views under a thatched roof while eating delicious food. During breakfast, there are pastries, yogurt, egg dishes, granola, fruit, Mexican dishes, an omelet bar, and various juices. They offer an incredible salad bar, pasta, chicken, and shrimp for lunch. At dinnertime, you’ll find plenty of options like chicken, beef, seafood, salads, and appetizers, among local and international cuisine.
The dining options for dinner are at the Peninsula, Rosato, El Mexicano, and La Cevicheria. The Penisula is where you can get casual or Asian-themed dishes. A favorite among guests, you can enjoy Gyoza, Pad Thai, and Teriyaki Chicken sitting in the open kitchen area at a long communal table or in the glass atrium.
Another dinner choice is Rosato, where you can enjoy delicious Italian dishes while sitting on the terrace overlooking the pool. If you want a more traditional Mexican meal, head to El Mexicano. And the last dinner option is La Cevicheria, which offers an a la carte service with various seafood dishes. The specialty restaurants do a great job of helping guests with gluten and dairy allergies.
When you get hungry during the day, there are plenty of other areas to get food. The El Grill offers a la carte service with various foods, such as grilled chicken salad, BBQ wings, traditional nachos, and burgers. The Coffee Counter is open all day from 7 am to 11 pm, where you can stop in the morning to pick up your favorite coffee before heading to the pool. There is even a Sushi Corner where you can get sushi prepared to order.

Special Experiences
Taking time away from the all-inclusive resort can lead to special moments on your vacation. South of Cozumel, you can visit the Faro Celerain Eco Park, known as Punta Sur Eco Beach Park. This ecological park covers over 2,500 acres, where you can see exotic birds, sea turtles, and even crocodiles, see historic lighthouses, and visit a museum that details the history of the Maya and pirates that frequented the area. Another fun highlight is touring the Colombia lagoon on a catamaran. Can you imagine your hand skimming the clear blue turquoise waters as you glide around the lagoon?
If your stay happens to overlap on a Sunday night, make sure to head downtown to enjoy the live music and dancing. This weekly event is where locals and tourists come out to have fun. Another thing to do downtown is to visit the Museum of the Island of Cozumel and learn about the island, its earliest inhabitants, and its history, especially its tribute to Carnaval. Families will also love visiting Chankanaab Adventure Beach Park. Inside Cozumel´s National Reef Marine Park, Chankanaab provides entertainment for the entire family with its eco-archaeological tour, a sea lion show and manatee, snuba and sea trek tours, swim with dolphins tours, a spa, tequila tasting tour, and so much more with incredible views that will leave you awestruck.
While most of Cozumel’s resorts and populated areas are on the island’s west side, if you rent a car or book a tour, head over to the “wild” east side of the island. Here you can enjoy remote white sand beaches with lovely local beach bars that offer fresh fish tacos and fabulous cocktails. It might even feel like you are on your own private island.
If you want to see more of the Mayan Peninsula on your Cozumel trip, schedule a day trip to Playa del Carmen. Two high-speed ferries shuttle people back and forth to and from Playa del Carmen, running every hour. Head over there to play in the surf or wander the street market.
For those looking to celebrate their wedding in the Caribbean, Fiesta Americana Cozumel All Inclusive will help you plan your event and cater it. With a beautiful view of the Caribbean Sea or during a romantic sunset on the beach, this location is perfect for a wedding. Whether it’s a family wedding or a memorable celebration, they can house up to 200 guests and have the environment to make your wedding spectacular.
The all-inclusive package includes accommodation, food, and beverages, including all buffet and à la carte meals, snacks, tips, taxes, 24-hour room service, in-room minibar (all beverages included), and scheduled activities. The exceptions are premium food like lobster and wine with several years of aging, the spa, and motorized activities.
