What’s Special About This Resort

Visitors arriving in Cozumel will find themselves in its main town, San Miguel de Cozumel, home to the ferry and cruise ports, airport, and much of the island’s shopping, dining, and land-based attractions. If you’d like to base yourself within easy distance of all that, Cozumel Palace could be your all-inclusive resort of choice. Each of its rooms and suites has an ocean view, along with a balcony and hammock from which to enjoy it. And while there’s no beach here, the resort makes up for it with pool and lounging areas, great snorkeling, and a dive center.

What to Do

As mentioned, you won’t find a beach in front of Cozumel Palace; that doesn’t mean you can’t take advantage of the Caribbean Sea, though. There are plenty of lounging spots on the decks and around the pools to enjoy the views and get some sun. Non-motorized water sports like paddleboarding and kayaking are free from the resort’s dock.

The reef is great for snorkeling, and there’s a dive center on-site for deeper exploration – they also do certifications. Dolphinaris Cozumel is right next door and is a fun opportunity to see one of the Caribbean’s most famous creatures up close.

Being in the center of San Miguel means you’re within walking distance of attractions like the Coral Reefs Monument, Cozumel Museum, and shops and restaurants on the waterfront promenade. It’s also easy to rent a Jeep or buggy to go further around the island. The western shore is rugged and beautiful and makes for an excellent day trip from busy San Miguel.

What to Eat & Drink

Each of Cozumel Palace’s four restaurants is covered by the all-inclusive package. However, guests should note that they alternate in the evenings, as certain restaurants are open for dinner on certain nights.

Breakfast is served at Góndola, a casual poolside spot with international favorites of the morning. This restaurant also serves lunch, which is also an international buffet. On the evenings that Góndola remains open for dinner, the menu transforms into an à-la-carte authentic Italian one.

Guests have two other Asian options for dinner. Momo serves sushi and Pan-Asian delights, while Agra does Indian cuisine just two nights a week. The final option is Bugambilias, where Mexican favorites are served, à-la-carte style as well.

Guests can enjoy snacks and light food at Flamingos, the Lobby Bar, and the Swim-Up Pool Bar all day long – plus limitless drinks. Room service is also an option 24 hours per day.

Room Guide

All of the rooms at Cozumel Palace have views of the Caribbean Sea, but guests do have a choice about how high of a floor they want to be on. There are also two options for larger, multi-room suites.

Superior Ocean View, Oceanfront, and Honeymoon Suites: We’re grouping these three together, as they all offer about 581 square feet of space in the same floor plan. Ocean View rooms are on lower floors, while the latter two are in the upper half of the building. Honeymoon Suites offer king-bed options only and have extra perks like a bottle of liquor and higher-end amenities.

Superior Loft Suites: This category adds space with its upstairs area, bringing the total to 827 square feet. There’s a bedroom with a king bed upstairs and two double beds downstairs, meaning up to six guests can stay here – perfect for families. Jacuzzi tubs and balcony hammocks are still included.

Superior Two-Bedroom Presidential Suite: Groups that need maximum space might prefer this penthouse-style accommodation, which has one king and two double beds in their own rooms. There’s also a full living room and an oversized balcony from which to enjoy the Caribbean Sea views.

Special Experiences

Cozumel Palace puts on a lot of great nighttime entertainment that makes for special experiences not found elsewhere. Guests can participate in Karaoke Night to jam with new friends from around the world – and take advantage of those unlimited cocktails, of course, which certainly help everyone get on stage.

Besides the live music offered, there’s also a unique Michael Jackson Show, combining the King of Pop’s hits with acrobatics and dance. Another option is the Fire Show, where pyro artists juggle, spin, and otherwise handle flames beautifully.

Guests can try something a bit more relaxed at the Awe Spa, like get a wood therapy massage, a facial, or aromatherapy. There’s always the possibility of finding peace and quiet far away from the resort, too, by hiring a private guide or renting a Jeep to find an empty beach.

All stays are all-inclusive at Cozumel Palace. That includes all meals, unlimited snacking, 24-hour room service, and, of course, drinks. Top-shelf liquor and mixologist-crafted cocktails aren’t excluded, either. Non-motorized water sports, live music, and day and night performances are other benefits.
