What to Do
In Cozumel, the main things to do are dive and snorkel. Across the small road, Cozumel Hotel & Resort has a Beach Club, with lounge chairs and plenty of shade, to relax next to the crystal clear water. The part of the reef in this area is part of the Chankanaab National Park Cozumel and is perfect for going out for a snorkel or shore dive directly from the Beach Club. Dive Paradise dive shop is on site for your dive trip planning.
If diving’s not your thing, enjoy an eco-archaeological tour, chill on the beach, grab a bite to eat, or learn how to snuba. The Chankanaab Park also offers an exclusive chance to swim with the dolphins at the Dolphin Discovery.

What to Eat and Drink

Los Arcos
Treat your tastebuds to a culinary adventure at Cozumel Hotel & Resort’s main restaurant located near the front desk. Los Arcos offers a wide range of food ranging from Mediterranean to Mexican and Caribbean, there’s even some Italian thrown in for good measure. Los Arcos is open daily for dinner from 6:30pm to 10:30pm. You can also get breakfast there, including a breakfast buffet from 6:30 am to 10:30am. The dress code is casual, though tank tops, bare feet, and wet clothes are not allowed.
Monkey Bar
The ultimate poolside bar, overlooking the ocean with a vibrant and fun atmosphere. Monkey Bar’s professional and extremely knowledgeable mixologists will serve you fresh tropical drinks at your request. Open from 10am to 10pm.
Lobby Bar
A classic, clean bar located near the hotel lobby with a big screen tv to view sporting events and other entertainment. The Lobby Bar serves a variety of cocktails and bar snacks with an international vibe. It’s open from 5pm to 1am.
Room Guide
The Cozumel Hotel & Resort has 180 non-smoking rooms complete with air conditioning and many other amenities. These include a terrace or balcony, flat-screen tv, international and national tv channels, bottled water, safety box, sitting area, marble tub and shower, toiletries, and hairdryer. The rooms are minimal, white, and airy, with tile floors that make dealing with sand and water easy.
The most common rooms are the Standard Rooms, typically overlooking the Cozumel Hotel and Resort’s large swimming pool. Choose from two double beds or one king bed. Standard rooms measure 30m2 (323 sq ft) and fit a maximum of four people.
There are 6 Superior Rooms measuring 33m2 (355 sq ft) and fit a maximum of four people. They have two double beds, deluxe toiletries, pool and beach towels, as well as a jacuzzi bathtub, and a mini fridge stocked with water, beer, and soft drinks. Superior rooms are only available with the All-inclusive package.
For families, The Family Superior Room offers comfort for the whole family. It contains one king bed and a bunk bed for the kids. Like the Superior Room, it’s fully equipped and only available with the All-inclusive package.
The Junior Suite is perfect for families or couples looking for a little more space. Junior Suites each have an entrance to a private terrace or balcony with a jacuzzi and partial ocean view. The Junior Suites are fully equipped and are only available with the All-inclusive package.
Special Experiences
One of the perks of staying here is taking advantage of the hotel’s Beach Club. The Beach Club is a stretch of sand filled with palm trees and a shade palapa with plenty of beach chairs and loungers to get some shade from the sun.
You can also use the Beach Club area for special events, from weddings to dinner parties, banquets, and retreats.
In fact, the Cozumel Hotel and Resort offers nearly 5000 ft of special occasion/event space. There are three large event rooms available that fit up to 700 conference guests or 400 banquet guests.
