For those looking for good sun shade in a perfectly portable package, we couldn’t recommend the Wondershade Umbrella more.

There’s a lot to love about the Wondershade 5′ Sun Shade Umbrella, but we were especially excited about the lightweight portability and versatility of this product. The umbrella comes with a convenient carrying case that simplifies transportation, allowing you to take it wherever.
It took us less than 5 minutes to set up and break down, and somehow still feels. You can easily adjust the umbrella’s height and angle of the shade to maximize your sun protection and comfort.
The Wondershade 5’ Sun Shade Umbrella made us aware of features we didn’t even know we wanted and certainly never expected from a beach umbrella. These umbrellas feature attachable cup holders to hold beverages and attachable hooks to keep your bag, towels, or clothes clean and dry. We didn’t know we wanted it, but it sure is handy and you can’t find them on the RIO Beach Umbrella.

The quality of the Wondershade 5′ Sun Shade Umbrella base is relatively sturdy, made with powder-coated steel that is almost as durable as it is lightweight. The umbrella has plastic parts, like the angled shade joint or the cup holder attachments, but even the plastic parts are sturdy and visibly well-made.
On the other hand, the shade material feels somewhat cheap and lacks the premium feel that the rest of the umbrella delivers. While its UV-blocking coating adequately blocks the sun, customer reviews have commented that it doesn’t last terribly long in the sun, some featuring photos of tears. Compared to our top choices the BEACHBUB and SuperBrella beach umbrellas, the canopy’s low durability at this price point was disappointing.
