Simple & Handy Beach Tent Features
The WhiteFang Beach Tent is like many of the other beach tents on our list. It is designed with an extended floor that doubles as a zippered door for privacy or inclement weather. It was tight, but we could change out of wet clothes without hiking a mile up the beach in search of a bathroom – it’s the little things.
The tent also features a hook on the ceiling of the tent, which is perfect for hanging a light, fan, or even your clothes while changing. The inner storage pouches also proved handy for keeping important items like phones or keys dry and sand-free. It’s a very simple addition that makes a big difference in peace of mind.
WhiteFang Beach Tent Material
The WhiteFang Beach Tent shade is made with predominantly lightweight materials, leaving a bit to be desired in terms of quality. That being said, this tent still makes for a convenient, lightweight shade.
The shade itself is made from a 210t sun-proof coated polyester, featuring a sun-protection rating of UPF 50+. The tent also features mesh windows to allow for optional ventilation or flaps for more privacy, depending on your needs and the weather.
Speaking of weather, we found the tent material to be sufficiently waterproof. Outside of the drips that can sneak in through the zippers, the WhiteFang Beach tent can reliably keep you dry from splashes, condensation, and even light rain during your day out.
The WhiteFang tent frame is assembled with 8.0mm thickened fiberglass collapsible rods, a sturdy and rust-proof structure to the tent.
Beach Tent Size & Weight
The White Fang Beach Tent offers dimensions of 83″ L x 55″ W x 46″ H, providing enough space to accommodate two adults, making it a great option for your next impromptu beach date or picnic for two.
It’s worth noting this beach tent really isn’t large enough if you’re looking to utilize beach chairs. You could get away with something low or flush to the ground, like the Unipride Beach Chairs, but anything taller will likely start to feel pretty cramped.
Additionally, the WhiteFang beach tent is one of the lightest beach tents on our list, thanks to the use of its materials. Weighing just 3.3 lbs, this tent is sure to make your beach bag a good bit lighter.
Performance
Similar in design to the Gorich Beach Tent, setting up the WhiteFang Beach Tent was a bit of an undertaking. It felt about as tedious as setting up a regular camping tent, with collapsible poles threading through the top of the tent to create the frame. The setup process benefits heavily from an extra set of hands, especially once you factor wind into the equation.
Aside from the setup, the WhiteFang Beach Tent was more than sufficient for our day at the beach. The lightweight design made for easy transport, the UPF 50+ rating kept us safe from harmful UV rays, and the zippered mesh windows kept things cool and breezy in the tent.
While it doesn’t perform the best in wind, WhiteFang provides 3 attached sandbags, 8 steel stakes, 6 sand stakes, and guy lines to help anchor the tent as best you can. But even when using all of these reinforcements, a number of customer reviews still report the fiberglass poles snapping in moderate wind. All to say, just be careful when taking this tent out in bad weather.

The WhiteFang Beach Tent is a fairly straightforward design with no frills that is priced around the same price as many other tents on our list. Its lower quality materials make us feel like it should have a lower price.
