What’s Special About This Resort
The Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort takes our top prize for golf lovers thanks to its spot on the Denarau Island Golf & Racquet Club, but there’s a lot more to love about this popular resort. Located in the Denarau Island area, which is a tourist district similar to Hawaii’s Wailea or Poipu, it’s just a 20-minute drive from the Nadi International Airport, making access easy and providing plenty of restaurants and entertainment nearby. Amenities like multiple lagoon-style pools and access to the spa at the neighboring Westin are added bonuses to the fair room rates. Guests in search of more adventure can enjoy watersports in the lagoon or take day trips to more remote islands for diving, snorkeling, and more.

Things we don't like:

What to Do
Denarau Island is a bit of a playground for both natural features and purpose-built fun. Its golf club is located between all of the local resorts and is crisscrossed by beautiful canals connected to Nadi Bay. Its 18 holes make up a par-72 course, and a driving range, putting green, and golf school are all available.
The beach is rocky and not ideal for swimming at the Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort, but beautiful lagoon-style swimming pools make it possible for anyone to splash and lounge. Watersports like paddle boarding and kayaking are possible in the sea, however. It’s also to arrange more adventurous activities like jet ski safaris, surf lessons and excursions, and scuba diving.
Just a short walk away, the Big Bula Waterpark is the perfect place for families to hit waterslides and a wave pool. Other Denarau Island advantages include a ton of shopping and dining at other resorts and near the port.
Being on the main island, it’s possible to rent a car here (and park it for free) to explore the waterfalls, jungle paths, and historic towns of Fiji. Alternatively, Port Denarau is the place to hop on a ferry or excursion to more remote islands, like the Mamanucas or Yasawas.

What to Eat & Drink
If you decide to stick to dining at the Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort, there are three restaurants to choose from. Two of them offer all-inclusive meals to guests on that package, and all are casual spots.
Buffet breakfast is served at Island 619, which is the resort’s main all-day dining outlet. Fijian flavors and all kinds of international favorites meet fresh seafood here for all three meals of the day, including a dinner buffet.
Indoor-outdoor lunch is also served at Tatavu Grill & Bar, which is where all-inclusive guests will have their two-course lunch. A lighter option is 28g, an all-day deli-style restaurant and coffee shop to grab simpler snacks.

Room Guide
With 300 rooms and suites, the Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort is certainly one of the larger resorts in the islands. This means there is a wide range of views, bedding configurations, and sizes to fit many guest needs.
Garden View: These simple but very comfortable rooms were recently renovated and offer either one king bed or two double beds. High-quality Sheraton standards, such as robes and large flat-screen televisions, are included, and ground-floor options provide easy access to the rest of the property.
Ocean View & Ocean Front: Sea-facing options provide the same comforts, plus a bit of extra space and closer access in the case of the Ocean Front variety. One king and two double bed configurations are available.
Larger Studio Rooms: These are Ocean Front as well but provide even more living space, with large bathtubs and double vanities in the bathroom, as well as a large balcony outside. They are also available in one king bed and two double bed configurations.
One-Bedroom Presidential Suite: For a true suite experience, you’ll have to go with the top room at the resort, which has a separate living room, separate dining room, and two balconies. It is very large in size and also has sea views.

Special Experiences
Some special experiences for guests at the Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort include activities like daily fish feeding, pool aqua aerobics, and evening warrior tiki torch lighting ceremonies. However, many other romantic and unique things to do are actually found off-property.
For example, if you’re in search of a special spa day for a couples massage, you can do so at the Heavenly Spa by Westin at the neighboring sister resort. The same goes for workouts in the gym.
You could also take a stroll through the Garden of the Sleeping Giant, an island botanical garden just a short drive away, and take a dip in the Sabeto Hot Spring & Mud Bath afterward. Or, get your adrenaline pumping in Koroyanitu National Park, where you can zipline and swim under waterfalls.
Guests of the Sheraton Fiji Golf & Beach Resort can opt for an all-inclusive room rate if they choose. This includes daily buffet breakfast, two-course lunches, and buffet dinners, as well as free-flowing beverages. Select alcoholic drinks are included, while premium options for both food and drink may incur surcharges. All details are available here.
