What’s Special About This Resort
This 57 acre sprawling Myrtle Beach resort features virtually any hotel room imaginable, ranging from free-standing condos to beachfront high rises and everything in between. The resort is a bit tucked away, about a 20 minute drive from the airport and the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk. We found this location to be more quiet than other family resorts in the area, perhaps thanks to the spacious grounds.
What really sets this property apart from others on our list is its focus on golf – you’re sure to get the best tee times and rates during your stay. The resort has an entire golf department with its own separate concierge for the sole purpose of helping golfers book rounds of golf at one of the many championship courses in the area. There’s also a nice putting green on the resort grounds to keep your game sharp between rounds.
The Ocean Creek Resort sits right on the beach, with the ocean just a short walk away from your guest suite, so if you get bored of the laundry list of amenities, you can always kick back in the sand with a good book. We found this to be a well rounded resort and would recommend it for families and golfers alike.

Few resorts in the area do golf like Ocean Creek Resort – in fact, they have an entire golf department that has its own separate concierge specifically to assist guests in booking rounds of golf at one of the 80 championship courses in the area. Additionally, they have an on-site putting green and a state-of-the-art exercise room so you can be at your very best by the time you set foot on the course.
For anyone who might not be joining you on the fairway, there are a number of exciting amenities right on the resort grounds. The resort features a full-service tennis center, over ten water features, an oceanfront volleyball court, a children’s playground, and more, for everyone in the family.
What to Eat & Drink
While we may not be spoiled for choice in dining options at Ocean Creek Resort, the handful of restaurants do offer high-quality meals and decent sized menus.

Beach Club Bar And Grill
Located right off the pool deck, the Beach Club Bar and Grill is a casual lunch and dinner spot. This dining spot boasts an oceanfront location, offering ultimate convenience for beach goers ordering takeout, but it also offers a spectacular spot to watch the sunset. Hours vary seasonally.
Four Seasons Lounge
The Four Seasons Lounge is adjacent to the Four Seasons Restaurant, offering a relaxed outdoor courtyard setting. The lounge offers a similar assortment of casual bites as the Beach Club Bar and Grill, with some additional, more elevated menu items, like entree salads, burgers, and more. Their menu also includes daily specials like their weekly “Friday Fish & Chips” or “Margarita Mondays.” The Four Seasons Lounge is open seasonally.

The resort also highly recommends Wonderworks, a nearby attraction that is equal parts amusement park and children’s museum. Highly rated by kids and adults, visitors can enjoy the exhibits, get moving on the indoor ropes course, or test their nerves on the bed of nails.
Kids of all ages can also enjoy an awe-inspiring and educational trip to the aquarium, where you can come face to face with a number of sea creatures. You’re sure to catch a glimpse of sea turtles, sharks, and fish in every color of the rainbow.
