What to Do
Many travel to the Myrtle Beach area every year for the beachy lifestyle, stunning ocean views, and laid back southern pace – however, those traveling with kids know that this quiet paradise can be a bit yawn-inducing for little ones. The Dunes Village comes in clutch for hard-to-impress kids and teens with an indoor waterpark.
Kids will stay busy and happy with access to the indoor teen pool, Silly Submarine, hot tubs, waterslides, kiddie pool, lazy river, and don’t forget the ocean right outside the front door.
The Water Park at Dunes Village Resort stays open year-round, as the park is fully enclosed and heated from late November through the end of April. Just be sure to double-check your dates, as renovations and repairs are frequent
When your kids get bored of the water, the whole family can make their way over to the game room, which features pool tables, ping pong tables, a bocce ball court, and more. The resort also hosts a Kids club where they can have fun doing summer camp style games and activities.
For parents who might want a more traditional, relaxing vacation experience, the resort also features an oceanfront pool with a hot tub and poolside cabanas, as well as a full-service spa. Everybody wins.
