Zehnder’s Splash Village Hotel & Waterpark
What’s Special about this Indoor Waterpark
Zehnder’s Splash Village is unique as it has two distinct indoor waterparks with over 50,000 sqft of fun water activities to enjoy. The first is Splash Park, the original and older of the two waterparks but one of my favorites. It has a sweet fairytale vibe with huge trees, giant mushrooms, tall flowers, and little houses where you expect gnomes or fairies to come out and surprise you as you float on the Crooked Brook Creek Lazy River. The Action River in Atrium Waterpark provides a faster current if you want more excitement.
Each park has similar activities with water basketball, a zero-entry activity pool for the little ones, and a Splash Landing Play area in Splash Park featuring water geysers and lily pads for the more adventurous kids. And the coup de grace is the water slides in both waterparks. A six-story family raft ride and a couple of four-story tube slides provide laughter and squeals through their twists, drops, and turns. The big draw, though, is the Super Loop Speed Slide that drops you four stories in a tube within less than 7 secs. Be ready for some fast thrills on this one!
Then when you are ready for some sustenance, head over to Elf Hollow Cafe & Mushroom Grille. There is an arcade for those tired of water, but most people will take the shuttle into Frankenmuth for a great chicken dinner.
