What to Do

There’s a ton of stuff to do here: walk along the hiking trails, take art classes, make jewelry, or you can spend a day with your family at the resort’s archery range playing tag, ride the ponies, see the animals at the petting zoo, enjoy the two miniature golf courses, play basketball, tennis, volleyball, horseshoes, shuffleboard, kickball, zombie bowling, or bocce ball. For something more competitive, you can also go on a scavenger hunt, participate in Family Olympics, Double Dare, or participate in Woodloch’s Amazing Race,  which has been happening for years.

Keen on just getting pampered? Leave your kids at the Woodloch Forest, a three-level indoor playground with four slides, a tree house, and a separate single-level toddler play area, while you get a massage at the resort’s award-winning spa. For something more thrilling, you can play paintball, ride go-karts, scale the resort’s 30-foot Climbing Wall, and take in the breathtaking Poconos canopy. If it’s the waters you’d like to explore, spend a day on a scenic lake boat tour, go kayaking, waterskiing, boating, canoeing, or paddle boarding on the lake, laugh on bumper boats, or swim in the indoor/outdoor pools and indoor splash zone.

For an additional charge, there are batting cages, arcade game rooms with 30 machines, an escape room, a shooting range (.22 rifles, paintball target shooting, or trapshooting) for adults and children over 13, bingo, play a round of golf on the championship course at Woodloch Springs, and during the winter ice skate and snowshoe rentals.

Families can also enjoy nightly performances from live bands, magicians, and comedians, Texas hold ‘em tournaments, horseracing games in The Night Club, to a Broadway-style theme show. The diversity in the different types of classes provides guests with many options to choose from so that there would be something for everyone, and you could be as busy or relaxed as you want.

What to Eat & Drink

The Woodloch Resort embraces the seed-to-fork philosophy regarding its dining experience. As such, you can enjoy heaty sustainable meals crafted with the best and freshest regionally grown products at the Woodloch Resort. With the Meal Plan Dining, you’ll have the choice of three dining locals: the Main Dining Room, which is communal dining at large tables; the Inn at Woodloch Pines; and the Grille Room at the Clubhouse at Woodloch Springs, which has a Sports bar vibe. There is a kid’s menu available at all of these dining locations.

The Meal Plan would consist of eating 2 or 3 meals/day in the dining rooms, but there are options for the other times when you get hungry. The Overlook Restaurant at the Clubhouse at Woodloch Springs is a great venue for a date night, with its wraparound deck overlooking the 18th hole. You can enjoy delicious dishes like Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos, Asian Noodle Salad, Bbq Chicken, Ahi Tuna, and Chana Masala. There are also plenty of quick-bite food stops and places to pick up gourmet coffees, sundries, and grocery items throughout the resort.
