What to Do
The Wilde Resort has the perfect set-up to watch the sunrise and sunset over the Red Rocks. They have teak rocking chairs set around a fire pit to listen to an amazing acoustic guitarist in the evening. Plus, they have a rooftop lounge where you can watch the hot air balloons in the distance rising with the sunrise. There is also a nice zen, Grove Garden, to walk through, and if you want more excitement, you can play corn hole on the lawn.
The Wilde Haven Spa is where you want to experience Sedona-inspired massages, soak in the private outdoor soaking hot tubs, and indulge in a vast list of full-service spa treatments like facials, reflexology, sound healing, or Ayurvedic treatments, and wellness classes that embrace Sedona’s energy. They also have a relaxation lounge, steam rooms, and a fitness center where you can do yoga to round out the spa experience.
The resort offers daily classes and activities, so you can check out the offerings if you aren’t exploring Sedona’s magic. The Thunder Mountain trailhead is easily walkable from the resort, and the trail connects to Chimney Rock and Sugarloaf. And when you return from the hike, dip in the outdoor pool, or soak in the hot tub.
What to Eat & Drink
The Wilde Resort has one on-site restaurant, Rascal, for guests to enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Rascal is a Southwestern twist to the classic All-American Diner, offering breakfast all day and daily specials.
Enjoy tasty steaks and seafood while admiring the Red Rock views on the outdoor patio. Rascal also has a vast collection of creative cocktails while munching on artisanal cheeses.
The Wilde Pool Bar is a nice place to hang out during the day to have drinks and snacks by the pool. They also have family games like ping pong, foosball, and numerous board games.
The Wilde Resort also has a small convience store for you to grab snacks before exploring Sedona.
Room Guide
This Sedona hotel has 105 guest rooms and suites that offer you the convenience of Sedona while still being far enough away to have some quiet reflections at the Red Rocks.
The resort is right off W. State Route 89A, which can be busy. However, booking a Grove room will put you toward the back of the resort for quiet and nice courtyard views. Each room includes a comfy bed, a bathroom with rainfall showers, bathrobes, high-speed Wi-Fi, a 55” TV, a mini-fridge, a coffee maker, and housekeeping.
The 280 sq. ft. Wilde Haven Spa Rooms have a king bed, writing desk, and window seating.
The 300 sq. ft. Suncatcher Rooms include a king bed or two queen beds, a walk-in shower, and a balconette, patio, or courtyard terrace. The Suncatcher Rock View Rooms are only on the second floor. The Suncatcher Fireplace Rooms are on the top floor and have vaulted ceilings and dual-head walk-in showers.
There is an elevator, and the hotel has accessible rooms, but make sure you contact the hotel with accessibility needs after booking.
The 500 sq. ft. Grove Rooms include your choice of a king bed or two queens. They also include a walk-in shower or shower tub combo, a walk-out patio or balcony, and the King comes with a fire feature.
The 1,000 sq. ft. Grove Red Rock View King Suite has two rooms with a king bed, a queen sofa sleeper, two baths with an oversized walk-in shower and deep soak tub, a kitchenette with a microwave, two TVs, and a walk-out to a covered patio or balcony.

Wilde Resort is a short drive from Tlaquepaque, a unique shopping destination designed to look like a Mexican village. You can easily spend hours going slow and taking it all in wandering through the artist shops, old chapels, and restaurants.
