What’s Special About This Resort

The St. Regis Bora Bora Resort offers unforgettable experiences and a true escape from reality. This stunning spot boasts some of the most incredible overwater villas in French Polynesia, plus a few expansive villas on the beach.

It’s the perfect tropical getaway for families who love to enjoy the outdoors together while maintaining privacy. Villas can accommodate three to eight guests, so larger families are welcome here.

What to Do

The St. Regis Resort Bora Bora offers fun for everyone, whether you’re on a couple’s getaway or a family vacation. While you may be tempted to enjoy the views from your overwater bungalow all day, it’s certainly worth exploring the rest of the resort and Bora Bora’s lagoon.

Let’s be real – everyone visiting Bora Bora is here for the stunning scenery, perfect weather, and gorgeous blue waters. Therefore, the most important part of any resort here is its outdoor activities. The St. Regis features three outdoor swimming pools, including an adults-only option.

The crown jewel of this resort is its private Lagoonarium. This protected sanctuary is teeming with colorful sea life and is a relaxing place for swimming and snorkeling. Other on-site experiences include the relaxing spa, a state-of-the-art fitness center, and a free kids club that offers an array of kid-friendly activities.

If you can convince yourself to venture outside of this stunning property, the concierge team will be happy to arrange exciting adventures, including a jet ski tour of the lagoon, an ATV tour of the main island, or a deep-sea fishing excursion. Like most resorts on a motu, semi-frequent shuttle boats can bring you to the island’s main village of Vaitape if you want to explore.

There are three dinner restaurants on the property. Farniente Ristorante specializes in authentic Italian cuisine, which is a true rarity in this island paradise. Bamboo is an ideal choice if you’re craving upscale Asian flavors, while Lagoon Restaurant combines traditional French, Asian, and Polynesian dishes and features fresh seafood.

Room Guide

The St. Regis Resort Bora Bora offers several room types with varying views and amenities –  there truly is no bad one. For families, consider either a beachside villa or one of the premier overwater villas for a bit more space. No matter which room type you book, you’ll be treated to St Regis’ signature butler service, which includes services like beverage service, unpacking, and pressing.

Beachside Villas: While these rooms aren’t over the water, they definitely shouldn’t be overlooked. These villas feature their own private pools and plenty of indoor and outdoor space to relax and unwind. Each bungalow has a separate bedroom and living area with traditional island decor. These bungalows can accommodate up to three guests.

Overwater Villas: The overwater bungalows are by far the most popular options for guests, with four different room types based on views, size, and amenities. Guests have the choice of a lagoon view, an island view, or an unparalleled view of Mount Otemanu. For a splurge, select the Overwater Premier Otemanu bungalow, which features views of Mount Otemanu that you can enjoy from your own private whirlpool.

Royal Overwater Villas: These villas are quite a step up from the average overwater villas. They come with one or two bedrooms and feature oversized living areas, plus a sprawling outdoor deck. The biggest draw to these gorgeous villas is the large private swimming pools attached to each deck.

Royal Beach Villas: There are two royal villas on the beach. The Reef Side Royal Garden is a two-bedroom villa that features its own large terrace, outdoor swimming pool, and two bathrooms and can accommodate up to five guests. The Royal Estate is a three-bedroom villa that can accommodate up to eight guests; it also has its own private swimming pool, a large terrace overlooking the lagoon, and even an office.

On the beach, guests can enjoy complimentary use of non-motorized water toys, including a Hobie Cat, paddleboards, and kayaks. Private excursions to places like secluded sandbars and reef shark havens are some of the unbelievable experiences around the lagoon for both families and adult travelers alike.
