What To Do

With 483 preserved acres of prime real estate and 2 miles of secluded beaches along its coast, there is no shortage of things to do and places to do them at at the St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort.

This resort has all the elevated amenities you would want and expect. There is the incredible Iridium Spa that offers a large and unique menu of five-star treatments. There is a large ocean-front pool and multiple restaurants.

What separates this resort from others in Puerto Rico is its size. Thanks to its nearly 500 acres, there is a great 18-hole golf course on site, as well as multiple nature trails and long stretches of pristine secluded beach for taking romantic strolls.

This resort is an amazing place to stay active. A top-notch fitness center and large pool are just the beginning. There are also kayaks for use, well-maintained jogging trails, tennis courts, and even beach volleyball.

What To Eat & Drink

There are three food and beverage options on-site at the St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort.

Many guests begin the day at the Seagrapes restaurant. This is the only restaurant that offers breakfast at the resort, and it is open throughout the day. This restaurant also services the pool area and offers an eclectic bistro-style menu with everything from salads and elevated sandwiches to pizzas and ceviche.

For a more romantic and refined meal head to Paros Restaurant,  the St. Regis, Bahia Beach Resort’s elegant dinner-only restaurant. Paros features an intimate setting with private tables and a stunning ocean view, so it’s important to reserve ahead, especially for a nice table for a special dinner. The menu is elevated Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, with an emphasis on seafood as well.

For those who want a well-made cocktail or a light snack before dinner, head to St. Regis Bar, which offers classic elegance you’d expect from this regal hotel chain but with a stunning tropical view. The bar features various signature beverages like their Encanto Bloody Mary as well as a limited menu with light bites.

Room Guide

Deluxe and Grand Deluxe Guest Rooms: The St. Regis has Deluxe and Grand Deluxe guest rooms. These rooms are either garden or ocean-view rooms. They vary in their layout, number of beds, and views, but all are notably spacious. Even the most basic accommodation is almost 700 square feet, and all rooms include private wind-swept terraces.

You can upgrade to grand deluxe rooms, some of which are oceanfront, and others have a sizable balcony or multiple beds. Rooms also include 400-thread count sheets, a walk-in closet, and an elegant yet contemporary design.

Suites: If you want to splurge or need more space than the spacious deluxe and grand deluxe rooms provide, you can book a suite. There are several types of suites, including Astor, Luxury, St. Regis, and Governor’s suites. All suites include multiple rooms with a sizable seating area.

The most luxurious suites are the St. Regis and the Governor’s suites. Both of these suite types include stunning oceanfront locations – just 40 yards from the beach. They have large open designs, pull-out sofas, and large balconies for enjoying the ocean breeze.

Residences: The most luxurious, spacious, and over-the-top accommodations at the St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort are the residences. These are grand 3-bedroom or even 5-bedroom properties that ooze luxury at every turn.

Residences vary in size, but all include butler service, chef-level kitchens, large living rooms, and separate dining rooms. Several residences have private or semi-private pools as well.

St. Regis Bahia Beach Resort, Rio Grande, has the privilege of being the home of multiple turtle nesting sites. This means that multiple times throughout the year hotel guests can witness sea turtles hatching from the privacy of the resort.

Guests can also enjoy expert-led marine excursions and learn about the biodiversity of this well-preserved region. Thanks to this resort’s location at the mount of a river, near a lush National Forest, and situated on the Atlantic Ocean, there are multiple habitats to explore.
