What’s Special about this Indoor Waterpark
SoundWaves is a four-acre, three-level water park with 110,000 sqft with slides, tubes, and raft rides with a music theme. Entrance to the water park is limited to resort guests to prevent overcrowding and keep the indoor waterpark experience relaxed and comfortable, which makes this one of the least crowded indoor waterparks. Though you need to buy the Water Experience package, the water park is not included with room-only reservations.
This unique waterpark lets you choose whether to experience the thrill of exciting rides or chill out with the mellow ones. The Down Tempo lazy river has you floating on a relaxing river through cavernous rock with LED lighting and music. In contrast, the Up Tempo not-so-lazy river has a current that swiftly takes you around a rapid river with waterfalls and spray features that will surely get you wet.
The level of excitement ramps up with Rapid Remix, a mega raft for 4 to 5 people that takes you through a series of vortex loops. It continues with more choices at Stage Dive and Record Launch, offering rides with LED lights and music. Are you sensing a theme here? More musical fun can be had at the Groovin’ Lagoon Activity Pool, where everyone can enjoy the rock wall, lily pad walk, basketball hoops, and waterfall. And the little ones can splash around in the multi-level play structure with small and medium slides and more water spray features than you can count. Not to leave the adults out, there is an adults-only infinity pool, bar, and seating on the third floor. SoundWaves can definitely weave its spell on you and spoil you for all other indoor waterparks.
