What’s Special About This Resort
Le Prince Regent Residence & Spa is an excellent choice for families thanks to its combination of spacious, residence-style rooms, its upscale atmosphere and amenities, and its great location – all at a great price.
It’s in the quieter Odéon neighborhood a block from the Luxembourg Gardens, putting it within walking distance of many attractions on the left bank. A quick métro ride should get you anywhere else. Rooms range in size from studio to three-bedroom-duplex, and each is fully equipped with kitchens and lots of space.
This is an ideal solution for families or groups who don’t want multiple hotel rooms and who may want to save even more money by cooking. There is no on-site restaurant, but you aren’t more than a few steps away from local places to dine at or order delivery from.

➞ What to Do
Within walking distance of Le Prince Regent Residence & Spa are a few major attractions, including the Jardin du Luxembourg, which is great for a morning walk on a sunny day, and the Panthéon. A few minutes in the other direction is the bridge across the river to Île de la Cité, where the famous Notre Dame Cathedral is found. You can still admire it from the outside and it is due to reopen soon.
Families might like to continue walking upstream a bit to the Jardin des Plantes and La Ménagerie, a zoo in the middle of the city. In the same place, you’ll also find the Gallery of Paleontology, with giant dinosaur skeletons and fossils, and the Gallery of Mineralogy and Geology, with colorful crystals and rocks – both of which are huge hits with kids.
The classic Paris attractions are walkable as well, with the Louvre less than 20 minutes away. From there, you’re basically across the river from Orsay and Invalides, at which point you can walk to the Eiffel Tower. Your legs might be ready for a métro or Uber ride back to Le Prince Regent from there.
➞ What to Eat & Drink
While there’s no restaurant at Le Prince Regent Residence & Spa, the staff can arrange to have breakfast delivered to your room each morning. Luckily, there are many dining options just outside the hotel, whether you want to sit down, take out, or call in delivery.
You can find Moroccan, Indian, Vietnamese, and Japanese cuisine within a block of the hotel. For traditional French, try Polidor, which is located right across the street. It has bistro dishes like duck, escargot, and beef bourguignon, and it won’t break your budget, either.
➞ Room Guide
All rooms at Le Prince Regent are fully equipped apartments ranging in size from studio to three-bedroom. Rather than the classical architecture and decor we’ve seen in most Paris hotels, this place keeps its rooms more modern and forward-looking, which is often welcomed by travelers.
Studio (“Le Sensuel”): With one double bed or two twins on request, up to two people can stay in this petite residence, taking advantage of its small kitchen and modern amenities.
One-Bedroom Suite (“Le Charmeur”): Up to four guests can stay in this residence thanks to a double bed plus a sofa bed. Longer-stay couples or families that like more space in general should consider this upgrade from the studio, as it’s a significant increase.
“Nuit Blanche” Suite & Two-Bedroom Suites: The Nuit Blanche isn’t quite a two-bedroom, but has two double beds in a partial-studio layout, putting it in the same category. However, groups wanting more privacy should opt for one of the true two-bedroom suites – these can also accommodate a third couple thanks to a sofa bed, and there is a duplex option.
Three-Bedroom Duplex (“La Perle”): The largest residence of all can accommodate up to eight guests thanks to two double beds, two twin beds, and a sofa bed in the downstairs living room. It’s on the top floor of the building.
➞ Special Experiences
Le Prince Regent is not just a residence, but a spa as well – head down to SPA 28 for some on-site relaxation in between your exploration. There’s a small but lovely swimming pool with daybeds and a steam room that can be accessed for a special hotel guest price. Guests also get a special deal on massages and facials.
Fans of the hit Netflix series Emily in Paris might be interested to know that Emily’s apartment is located just a 10-minute walk from the hotel, as is the restaurant frequently seen in the show! While you’ll just be able to take pictures of the apartment building, you can dine at Terra Nera to see if it lives up to your expectations.
