What to Do
Kalahari has tons of activities to keep your family occupied for days. The highlight is the Indoor waterpark with all the rides, water slides, and pools.
Tom Foolerys Adventure Park will have you laughing and screaming in excitement when you aren’t playing in the water. This fun complex has rides, climbing walls, a rope course, a mini golf course, a zip line, a Ferris wheel, laser tag, arcade games, and more.
The Volcano Lounge & Lanes is upstairs, and you can bowl get snacks and drinks. Redd’s Piano Bar and Lounge gives guests a fun night out with nightly live entertainment.
Looking for relaxation and a little pampering? Head to Spa Kalahari & Salon. This full-service spa offers facials, body treatments, massages, and nail services. You can even spend time in the Halotherapy Salt Room. There is also a large fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment.
Kalahari guests receive free passes to see the animals at the Timbovati Exotic Animal Zoo and watch the Tommy Barlett’s Thrill Show. Room Guide
The Kalahari Resort is one of the largest resorts, with four floors and 756 guest rooms. Each room includes a simple bathroom with a shower/tub, high-speed Wi-Fi, flat screen TV, mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker.
There are four areas of accommodations: the Resort Side Suites, Sands Side Suites, Lake Delton Villas, and the Nyumba Entertainment Villas.
Resort Side Suites – The Resort Side Suites come in various sizes, all decorated with African art and memorabilia.
The Double Queen Suites come with a pull-out sofa and some with a recliner or a balcony. The Double Queen Sofa Lobby View Suites offer guests a bird’s eye view of the Kalahari lobby. The King Whirlpool Suites have a sofa sleeper and a balcony.
The Two Bedroom Suites come with either one bathroom or two, a king bed, two queens, a sofa sleeper, multiple TVs, and some get a patio. The Hospitality Suites include two queen Murphy beds, a living room with a sofa sleeper, a fireplace, a wet bar, and a deck overlooking the outdoor waterpark.
The Presidential Suite has one king, two queens, a 55” TV, whirlpool tubs, a living room w/fireplace, a dining room, 2.5 baths, and a wet bar.
Sands Side Suites – The Sands Side Suites are in a separate building and have a long walk to the on-site attractions.
The Double Queen has two queen beds, a full bath, and some have a balcony. The King Living Room Kitchen Suite has a king bed, a queen sofa sleeper, a whirlpool tub, a living room with a fireplace, a kitchen, a dining room, and two flat-screen TVs.
The Royal Hospitality Suite Balcony includes two queen Murphy beds, a jet tub, a walk-in closet, a living room with a flat-screen TV, a sofa sleeper, a fireplace, a wet bar, and a large deck overlooking the Sands pool.
The 2 Bedroom Kitchen Living Room Suite combines the King Living Room Kitchen Suite and a Double Queen Balcony. The 3 Bedroom Kitchen Living Room Suite has three bedrooms with a king and a whirlpool tub, two queens, queen pull-out, multiple TVs, a living room with a fireplace, kitchen, dining room, and patio/balcony.
Nyumba Entertainment Villas – For larger gatherings, you can stay in the 5 Bedroom Entertainment House that includes five bedrooms that sleep up to 22 with one king, eight double queen beds, two queen pull-out sofas, and multiple bathrooms. Guests have access to the main resort via a free shuttle. The 10 Bedroom Entertainment Duplex is two 5 Bedroom Houses combined for 44 people and cannot be reserved online.
Lake Delton Villas – The Waterfront Double Queen Sofa has two queen beds and a pull-out sofa. The Waterfront 3 Bedroom Cottage has a king bed, two queen beds, two sets of bunk beds, three bathrooms, and a balcony for up to 12 people.
The Waterfront 4 Bedroom Homestead includes four bedrooms, 3.5 baths, a full kitchen, a living and dining area, multiple TVs, and a patio and balcony for up to 14 people. The Waterfront 5 Bedroom Retreat features five bedrooms, five baths, a kitchen, dining area, living room with fireplace, multiple TVs, laundry, patio and balcony, and a large deck that sleeps up to 20. The Waterfront 4 Bedroom Chalet is the Waterfront Double Queen Sofa, and the Waterfront 3 Bedroom Cottage combined for up to 18 people.
