What’s Special about this Indoor Waterpark
Kalahari Resorts Indoor Waterpark in Sandusky is the Midwest’s Largest Indoor Waterpark at 173,000 sqft after an expansion in 2002. With its African-themed resort, it carries over to the waterpark with exciting rides named Rippling Rhino, Swahili Swirl, Tanzanian Twister, Victoria Falls, Zig-Zag Zebra, and Zimbabwe Zipper; plus, there is a FlowRider surf simulator and the coolest Wild Kingdom interactive water play area.
Don’t worry that there are only thrill rides for the bigger kids. Kalahari Resorts Indoor Waterpark has plenty of options for your littles, including Coral Cove and Kid’s Safari, where toddlers can play on mini slides and bouncers, swings, and splash around to their hearts’ content.
The resort is right near Cedar Point Amusement Park, which is fantastic if you want indoor and outdoor thrill options. However, if you only want water play, Kalahari has enough activities to keep you occupied for days. Besides the wonderful lazy river, where you can float for hours, there is an arcade, escape room, mini-golf, laser tag, and a safari adventure with up-close animal encounters. Each Kalahari Resort has a fitness center, full-service spa, retail stores, restaurants, a conference center, and so much more. Its range of water attractions and amenities makes it a must-visit destination for every family.
