What to Do
Glacier Canyon Lodge has plenty of things to do within the resort. For starters, the Lost World Outdoor Waterpark has three acres of waterslides, three hot tubs, multiple pools with activities like basketball, a lily pad obstacle walk, and the Lost World Adventure River.
Guests receive free entry into the waterpark as well as free parking. There is also the Cosmic Outdoor Mini Go-Karts, Jurassic Outdoor Mini Golf, and the X-Treme Adventure Prize Arcade for families to explore. Glacier Canyon also has a fully-equipped fitness center with state-of-the-art cardio equipment and weight machines.
Being part of the Wilderness Resorts, guests can enjoy all the activities, including other water parks, more go-karts, laser tag, and zip-lining. You can get to these activities through the indoor skywalk. Additional fees apply for some attractions, but you can purchase the Fun Pass to access multiple attractions throughout the Wilderness property.
The WildKids Club offers a fun way for kids and families to do arts and crafts together. You can make your own slime, a glitter tattoo, stuff-a-critter, and even enjoy root beer floats (some crafts cost extra). There are also free events that range from duck races to horse-drawn wagon rides.
The Wilderness Resorts are close to many other Wisconsin Dells activities, as well as being nearby the Christmas Mountain and Cascade Mountain Ski Resort for excellent ski slopes.
What to Eat & Drink
Glacier Canyon Lodge is part of the Wilderness properties, so you’ll find plenty of dining throughout the three resorts. If you want to stay close, Glacier Canyon has several options, especially around the Lost World Outdoor Waterpark.
You can get snacks, pizza, burgers, and even chicken tenders at the Big Dig Eatery when you take a break from the water slides. Jurassic Joe’s is another option that has a limited to-go menu of brats and the Bronto burger.
After 5 p.m., you can get specialty tacos freshly made to order at Tacolicious. The Canyon Ridge Taproom is a great pizza place and a wonderful place to unwind and play a game of pool or watch your favorite sport on the TV.
There are three areas within Glacier Canyon Lodge for coffee drinkers to get your fix. The Bean Bodega Coffee Shop is by the Conference Center, featuring Starbucks drinks and breakfast items. The Jurassic Java Stop serves Starbucks coffee and can be found at entrance 2. The third coffee spot is at the Campside Coffee & Gifts by the lobby.
