What to Do
The outdoor company evo created this magnificent campus for you to connect with sports, the Salt Lake culture, each other, and, of course, the outdoors. There are so many activities for you to participate in within the evo Campus.
You can get a day pass to the Salt Lake Bouldering Project, a 26,000-square-foot indoor gym, where you can have fun rock climbing, working out, or taking a yoga class. Another option is to take the family to the All Together Skatepark and get stoked for your next skateboarding trick.
There are also two outdoor gear stores within the campus: evo and Level Nine Sports. Here, you can rent skis, snowboards, and mountain bikes and get your own gear serviced; need your board waxed? How about getting your bike tuned before you hit the trails?
The evo Hotel and Campus also have innovative storage for your bikes and skis.
Besides the outdoor gear retail shops, the Campus has a wonderful art gallery and art from local artists scattered throughout the property for you to admire.
The evo Hotel is near Temple Square where you wander around the beautiful gardens and admire the architecture. Salt Lake City International Airport is less than 4 miles from the hotel.
What to Eat & Drink
The evo Hotel has two places for guests to get something to drink and eat on-site. The cute pink Curator’s Café offers a fantastic local coffee roast, Publik Coffee, tea, Dirty Chai, hot apple cider, and smoothies like the Takes Two to Mango and build your own breakfast sandwich.
The Crown Bar on evo’s rooftop is the place to meet up with friends, have a cocktail or craft brew around the firepit, and admire the Wasatch Mountain views. This rooftop bar is also open to the public and holds events like Trivia nights.
Room Guide
The evo Hotel has 50 rooms that are as unique as the hotel is. There are four room type options: Wasatch Rooms, Boulder Rooms, Rafter Rooms, and Bunk Rooms. In addition, there are accessible rooms and pet-friendly rooms available. Each comfortable room has a private bathroom with a shower, free toiletries, a music player, and free Wi-Fi across the Campus.
The Wasatch Rooms are perfect for couples ranging in size from 280 square feet with a single king bed or two queens to a 710 square foot studio suite. The Wasatch rooms have a mountain or courtyard view, a private patio, and a rain shower. Plus, it has storage for all your outdoor gear, whether skiing, snowboarding, or mountain biking.
The Boulder Rooms are named for their location right above the bouldering gym. Designed with rock climbing inspirations, you’ll find quirky details like figure-8 knots in the lamp wiring, a peg board for a headboard, and hang boards throughout the room. The Boulder Room has a king bed, polished concrete flooring, and a rain shower in its 300 square foot room.
The Rafter Rooms are uniquely designed into the trusses with a built-in library of fabulous photo prints on the walls. These smaller rooms are great for individuals and come with two queen beds, a small luggage area, plus a large secured storage locker in the hallway.
The Bunk Rooms are set up to hold families in its functionally designed 300 square-foot rooms. The Bunk Rooms come in two options: the family room with bathtubs for kids and the friends room with an inspirational tailgate area for relaxing after a day spent exploring Salt Lake City.
