What To Do
Even though the Copamarina Beach Resort & Spa is far from civilization, there is no shortage of things to do at this stunning secluded Puerto Rico resort. You can start your day off at Las Palmas, an on-site restaurant that serves breakfast. Next, you can enjoy the beautiful private beach. Take a dip in the ocean or enjoy one of the two resort pools to cool off.
If you want a little exercise you can play tennis, go for a bike ride, or rent a kayak or paddle board directly from the resort’s shores. To end the day you can book a memorable sunset sail from the property, or enjoy the sunset from the tranquil shores of the resort.
What To Eat & Drink
The Copamarina Beach Resort & Spa has two restaurants located on its 20-acre property. They both take a farm-to-table approach and incorporate Puerto Rican cuisine into their menus.
Las Palmas is an all-day restaurant that offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner options for resort guests. It has a relaxed alfresco ambiance with stunning ocean views.
For lunch you can find ample soups, salads, sandwiches, and also local offerings like grouper mofongo. You can eat here for dinner as well, or head to Restaurante Alexandra for a fine dining experience.
Restaurante Alexandra offers a contemporary and elegant approach to Puerto Rican food in a fine dining setting. The restaurant has two seatings – 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, and is open for dinner only.
Room Guide
Deluxe Rooms: This is the most simple and affordable accommodation option starting at $176 (and sometimes lower). You can choose between one king bed or two double beds for a garden view room. You can book a slightly more expensive ocean-view deluxe room on the second floor.
Oceanfront Room: This room option comes with unobstructed ocean views, which is ideal for those traveling to Puerto Rico for a beach retreat. Inside the room, you will find either a king bed and a sleeper sofa or two queen beds.
One-Bedroom Suite: If you are looking for more space or a bit more luxury, consider a one-bedroom suite. These spacious rooms have a large sleeping area with a king bed and sofa bed, and a separate living and dining space. These rooms also come with a small kitchen, and a balcony or patio.
Luxury Villas: If you are traveling in a larger group or are looking for the best room at this top Puerto Rico resort, then you can opt for a villa. The hotel has multiple three-bedroom villas. These villas feature a wrap-around balcony, two full bathrooms, a separate living and dining area, a home theater, and a chef’s kitchen.
Special Experiences
The most special experiences at Copamarina Beach Resort & Spa involve the unique and privileged property. There are bike paths through the tropical gardens, or you can simply walk and explore the grounds. But the best experiences are on the water.
The waters here are often well-protected, making kayaking and SUP boarding near the shore a great activity. For some romance or wonder, sign up for a sunset sail, as the resort is situated in a great spot to enjoy a memorable sunset in the Caribbean.
