Most Picturesque Beach
Castaway Island
Castaway Island

There are so many picture-perfect beaches in Fiji, but Castaway Island has everything you could want from a beachy destination. Castaway Island, also known as Qualito Island, is a 174-acre island located within the stunning Mamanuca island chain. It can be easily accessed by a fast 30-minute boat ride from Nadi, on Fiji’s main island.

Castaway Island, in addition to having several jaw-droppingly beautiful white sand beaches, is also an overall perfect island playground. There is exceptional snorkeling and diving with vibrant coral reefs a short swim from shore. There is a fantastic resort, as well as some great facilities for day visitors. A trip to this island is great for singles, couples seeking romance, and even families.

Another reason this beach qualifies as the most picturesque beach is its ease of access. It is one of the few private resort islands with such beauty that people can visit for the day. Many of the most stunning islands in the Mamanuca and Yasawa Islands can only be accessed by staying several nights in exorbitantly expensive villas. Castaway Island allows day visitors, which makes it possible for those on all sorts of travel budgets to experience this truly exceptional island and its beaches.
