Avalanche Bay is the largest indoor waterpark in Michigan, located within the Mountain Grand Lodge resort at Boyne Mountain. The waterpark is 88,000 sqft full of six slides, a water tower, a cannonball slide, an activity pool, a stand-up surf simulator, a lazy river, hot tubs, and a water-based obstacle course with logs and icebergs. The Big Couloir is the highlight that surprises you when the trap door opens, and you fall, accelerating to 38 ft/sec into a 360° Super Loop. You must see this unique and hair-raising ride to believe it.

Even though Avalanche Bay lacks a wave pool, the waterslides are fast, entertaining, and thrilling, and plenty of other water activities keep you occupied all day. Avalanche Bay has activities for all ages, including single and double tube slides, mat racers, water basketball, and the Kitz pool, which has a zero-depth entry with tons of sprinklers, water buckets, and a mini-slide for the tiny members of your family.

Teens, tweens, and adults will love playing in Splasherhorn with its 800-gallon waterfall and multi-level bridges, slides, water sprays, and even more dumping buckets. The lazy river winds through the whole waterpark with a current that guides your tube through hidden water features.
