What to Do

This boutique Bed & Breakfast has a lovely garden courtyard overflowing with flowers, water features, metal art sculptures, and comfortable seating areas (hammock, swing, front porch, etc.). There are plenty of places to take a break while admiring the red rock views.

Guests can also enjoy relaxing swimming in the heated saltwater pool, lounge in the jacuzzi, or sit around the firepit to watch the sunset or stargaze while sipping on a prickly pear margarita.

Staying at A Sunset Chateau provides easy access to restaurants, groceries, art galleries, and some of the best hiking trails. Guests have easy access to the moderate 4-mile Airport Mesa Loop Trail that offers panoramic views of Sedona and passes by the Airport Mesa Vortex.

They also have a complimentary concierge service that can help you with tours, dinner reservations, or schedule an in-room massage.

Room Guide

A Sunset Chateau has 25 uniquely decorated suites with original artwork that brings Southwest charm and blends it with comfort and luxury.

Each suite includes a kitchenette with a microwave, mini-fridge, and coffeemaker, fluffy bath robes, organic soaps and shampoos, and high-speed Wi-Fi. However, the internet can be slow.

Most suites are 600 sq. ft., except for the Villa Paradiso Suite and the Royal Hacienda Suites, which are 1,000 sq. ft.

The Casita Suites have a king bed, a queen Murphy bed, one bathroom with two sinks and either a walk-in shower or shower/tub combo, a living room with a 55” TV and electric fireplace, a dining table for four, a patio, with either African or Asian-themed design.

The Premium Casita Suites include a king bed, a queen Murphy bed, one bathroom with two sinks, and a walk-in shower. It also has two TVs, a living room with a fireplace, a dining table for four, a writing desk, a patio offering red rock views, and a Native American or Southwestern-themed design.

The Vista Montana Suites have a king bed, a bathroom with two sinks, a walk-in shower, and soaking tub, a TV, a living room with an electric fireplace, a dining table for two, a patio with views of the red rocks, and have a Arizonan or Moroccan-themed design.

The Adobe Romanticas designed with Southwestern decorations includes a canopy king bed that is perfect for couples, a bathroom with two sinks, a walk-in shower, and a two-person jet tub, a living room with a fireplace and TV, a dining table for two, and a patio.

The Pueblo Bonito Suites are designed with Southwestern or Mexican decorations and have a king bed, a bathroom with two sinks, a walk-in shower, and a two-person jet tub. These suites also have a living room with a sectional sofa and TV, a writing desk, a dining table for two, and a private balcony.

The Bella Vistas have an open layout concept with a kitchen breakfast bar, a living room with an electric fireplace and TV, and a private balcony with stunning panoramic views of the Red Rocks. This two-story suite also has a king bed, a bathroom with two sinks, a walk-in shower, and a two-person jet tub.

The Villa Paradiso Suite is the most luxurious suite at A Sunset Chateau and sleeps up to four people. The suite has a king bed, a bathroom with two sinks, a large two-person jet tub, and a two-person shower. It also has a living room with a queen Murphy bed, TV, an electric fireplace, a dining table for four, a full kitchen with a range, oven, and dishwasher, and a private balcony to watch the sunset on the red rocks.

The Royal Hacienda Suites includes two bedrooms with a king bed, a queen bed or king in the guest bedroom, two baths, a living room with a TV, a desk, a full kitchen with range, oven, and dishwasher, a breakfast bar, a dining table for four, and a private balcony. Some suites have a washer and dryer.
