We love this neck warmer for its natural merino wool composition, known for its moisture-wicking and temperature-regulating properties, providing comfort in various conditions.
This buff worked well in freezing conditions and protected from the wind and cold. It does get a bit hot when the sun comes out, but the buff folds up nicely to fit in most pockets. Note that this is the shortest buff we tested, so it doesn’t fold up into a balaclava to fit the whole head and neck.
Wool can sometimes have a scratchy feel, but this neck gaiter does not. The seams were thoughtfully crafted so that you can barely see or feel them at all.
Its non-restrictive fit ensures flexibility, catering to different preferences, although it is noticeably less snug than the other buffs tested. For those with a larger neck or looking for a relaxed fit, this buff is ideal.
Things we like:
-
Anti-bacterial & odor-resistant properties wick away sweat
-
No scratchy feel from material or seams
-
Withstands freezing temperatures
Things we don't like:
-
Some may find the relaxed fit too big
-
The shortest of the buffs reviewed, making it unable to fold into a balaclava
