After thoroughly investigating this neck gaiter in various conditions, we found it to hold up well in most temperatures. Its lightweight and breathable fabric makes it suitable for various activities, providing a strong UPF 50 layer of sun protection.
The added Insect Shield offers an extra deterrent in bug-prone environments, although in thick bug-ridden areas, don’t expect perfection. The seamless material is extremely comfortable and made from 95% recycled material, but it does tend to run small and may end up being too tight for some folks.
When it comes to wind and cold protection, this buff does surprisingly well for being so lightweight. In Utah where spring ski days can be a bit cool but extremely sunny, this buff offered suitable protection.
This neck gaiter caters to those who prioritize sun and insect protection without compromising on breathability, but don’t count it out for ski days either.
