Where to buy Stubble & Co Everyday Backpack:
Stubble & Co
Stubble & Co’s Everyday Backpack is a sleek 20-liter solution with a dedicated laptop compartment.
This pack ticks a lot of boxes for organization, especially when carrying small items. Two external zipper pockets and two expandable water bottle pockets are at the side.
The main compartment will house a jacket, some books, or a pair of sneakers. Stubble’s backpack has a design that seems to fit as much as other packs with as much as 25% more capacity than this one.
It has a price/quality relationship in a design that will immediately appeal to professionals and college students with a streamlined urban lifestyle. The trolley sleeve expands the appeal to city-hopping, especially with the laptop design.

Stubble & Co’s Practical Everyday Backpack
The Everyday Backpack by Stubble & Co has a stylish and comfortable design with the company’s signature black mat sleekness. This one has the right pockets and sleeves for everyday use and comes in an elegant style with sustainable–yet pleasant–fabrics.
First and foremost, we found this a reliable laptop pack. We can then confirm that it’s a durable and practical design, too.
Testing a good backpack is relatively easy as long as there’s time and the right (challenging) conditions for it are presented. We threw this pack into the fray of everyday urban commuting and tossed in some business trips and research expeditions. We then graded it in comparison to other laptop backpacks.
It acquits itself quite well for commuting with a backpack. There’s much to be said and described (below) about how the Everyday’s design features accommodate the different arsenal of items needed on different days in an active lifestyle.
Details & Features
Three contemporary colors for this one, all black and concrete, both featuring a bright neon orange interior lining for better visibility. The light pastel matcha color features black internal lining which offers less visibility, so keep that in mind.
The external pockets work well for everyday nicknacks, we wouldn’t add more. Longer pulls on the zippers come in handy. In the side pockets, you get a glimpse of the same orange lining found in the main compartment interior, and elastic strips make them stretchy to fit your water bottle or umbrella.
On the shoulder straps, attachment loops offer external storage or hooking bike lights and there is a tiny mesh pocket, big enough for an ear pod case.
The chest strap is adjustable but not removable. It is easy to pull up and down due to the savvy design of the railing.
The reflective trim makes you more visible when riding a bike or walking after sundown and a solid top handle makes for easy grabbing.
This backpack is designed with the urban professional in mind and we love the convenience of having a well-incorporated trolley sleeve for those business trips or weekend getaways. The sleeve is padded with an outlined Stubble & Co logo–a nice touch.
Construction & Water-Resistance
We test a lot of backpacks and one thing we like to see is hardwearing materials and products that last. The Everyday Backpack is made of 600D recycled PET fabric, with a strong 1200D base and a 200D internal lining. We like its lightweight and vegan-friendly concept.
On the back, you find highly breathable 3D Poly Air Mesh padding, which keeps you cool when moving around. The padding is one of the things we appreciate in this bag. It complements the ergonomic design.
Back padding and thick fabrics make the pack hold its shape when it’s empty or when it’s packed and heavy. Its materials are waterproof and like many other Stubble & Co bags, it performs well even in heavy rainfall.
The zippers are seamed and keep water out of the pockets. It is not a waterproof bag, so we don’t recommend that you get drenched. Wiping it dry is easy and it dries quickly. Remember not to scrub your bag, it can damage its coating.
After months of testing, biking in the rain, dropping it on the office floor, carrying a laptop and tossing it on a travel trolley, we are happy to report that it is durable, comfortable and practical and weighs 1.9 lbs, making it a lightweight choice.
Capacity & Pockets
Its 20L capacity is enough for everyday items or an after-work workout at the gym.
The interior is spacious with a bright lining, making it easy to see inside.
There are plenty of pockets to work with on this one. It has an office-on-the-go profile, so you can easily and efficiently organize office stationery.
Power banks, thumb drives or Moleskin notepads can all have their designated spot here too.
A separate, well-padded 16’’ laptop compartment prevents scratches or items from coming into contact with your device. Several smaller and meshed pockets for writing pads, pens, tickets or keys keep everything in place inside the spacious main compartment.
The vertically placed front pocket is large enough for a smartphone, a wallet and sunglasses, great for accessing stuff when commuting. The smaller pocket on the top can fit a pair of small earphones or better yet, separate keys from your phone.
On each side, there are stretchy water bottle pockets. Unlike many backpacks we have tried, this Stubble & Co fits the 32oz Nalgene Wide Mouth, one of our widest containers. The Yeti Rambler with its 26oz capacity, for example, is a more comfortable fit that does not overstretch the pocket.
Price & Value
This Stubble & Co Everday Backpack is a premium backpack priced appropriately. It’s among established brands that use trustworthy and water-resistant fabrics. As practical as it is, where this one excels beyond comparable packs is in its durable design and style.
We’ve never been worried about our electronics in rain or snow or from accidental bumps, thanks to this kind of padding.
Nor have we had issues with zippers on our Stubble products over the years. Based on anecdotal evidence, Stubble & Co. provide good customer support in the few cases we found out there that demanded some repair or replacement.
The Everyday offers a laptop backpack with an ergonomic fit, great organization and a trolley sleeve. In short, it’s a worthwhile pack for a streamlined and active daily lifestyle.
Comparing The Stubble & Co Everyday Backpack
Another stylish backpack we’ve reviewed is the Rains Rolltop. Its 13L capacity fits less but it is great for those who want to downsize. The Rains has a notably minimalist, Scandinavian design that repels water better than most water-resistant packs.
The roll top also makes it a popular choice for those on a bike, even if there are no pockets inside for smaller items.
Another Stubble bag we use and abuse is The Roll Top. At 20L capacity, the top design seems to offer an expandable compartment. Its cushioned back is equally comfortable but it’s a more sporty, urban version, preferred by those who bike often and does not offer a trolley sleeve.
Speaking of biking, the cyclist-inspired Spire 2.0 by Timbuk2 matches the Roll Top profile and capacity, they both have side access to the laptop compartments, great weatherproofing and come at a lower price.
If you are not in the market for an all-black bag you can find more variety in color in some TNF packs. We tested the Jester and the Vault, which are more budget-friendly and although we got good use out of them and found their organization deserving, materials and weatherproofing are inferior on the Stubble Everyday pack.
Do We Recommend It?
Using the Stubble Everyday Backpack to and from work, with in-between stops at the gym or picking up essentials from the store, we are pleased with its performance and feel content not having to worry about the weather.
It carries well, travels well, even on a trolley to the airport, and its organization makes it stand out. If we were to suggest improvements, it would be extra padding in the bottom and a suspended laptop sleeve to protect from accidental falls.
We recommend it as an everyday backpack, for stylish and seamless transitions between activities, convenient travels and for those high precipitation days. In our opinion, it is a good candidate worth considering.
