Osprey may be more recognized for their high-grade packs built for extended trips down the trail, but this hybrid commuter bag is built to the same standard of excellence as any of their backcountry models. You could take the Daylight Plus with you from the library to the bouldering gym and then down your favorite local trail for an extended day hike with an equal sense of style and comfort.

Build and Design
Despite its somewhat limited technical applications, the Daylite Plus maintains plenty of relevance as a day to day commuter or a super slick daypack. Clever use of space allows a hydration sleeve to double as a laptop holder, and the discrete side pockets easily stretch to accommodate water bottles or other outdoor gear you want to carry from the office to the woods.
At 20L with minimal support and a soft foam back panel, you shouldn’t expect the Daylite Plus to haul any serious weight. This isn’t any surprise for what is, in essence, a massively overbuilt Jansport. It’s still more than capable of carrying everything you’d need for a day trekking through your local forest or urban jungle.
