After testing dozens of beach umbrellas, we’re glad to report that BEACHBUB’s All-in-One beach umbrella is our favorite. It checks most of our boxes and makes the 92% of 5-star reviews on Amazon seem trustworthy.
What is it about this umbrella in particular that made us want to give it the Outoria favorite award? It’s as sunproof as it is windproof. Apart from having the UPF 50+ rating, it’s also wind tested to 35 MPH and, in our personal experience, has lived up to these expectations. No sunburn or a blown away umbrella was recorded during our time spent testing this umbrella in windy and cloud-free conditions.
Having been included by the Consumer Reports Magazine in the category of the best “beach umbrellas that won’t blow away”, it’s only normal that it remains one of the most sought-after beach umbrellas.
The Ocean Blue color is traditional and appealing, but the base unit’s color comes in either yellow, green, or sky blue.

BEACHBUB’s Beach Umbrella Quality
The BEACHBUB All-In-One beach umbrella is a little expensive. But we found it is definitely worth its price.
First off it is made from high-quality materials. The commercial-grade 2-piece aluminum pole with the 1.5mm wall thickness paired with the 6 durable 10mm fiberglass frame ribs and triple-layered independently-sewn rib pockets all show that this is a well-built beach umbrella.
It also boasts 220G woven polyester fabric (thread count), reinforced stitching on the canopy, and a stainless steel hitch pin with a riveted pole tip that adds extra stability to the construction of the umbrella. Stability that is proven again and again as it stands up to not only the wear and tear of moving it on and off the beach but most notably, it stands up against any strong wind.
All-In-One Beach Umbrella Features
You can purchase extra attachments for the BEACHBUB beach umbrella. There is a hook that clips on the the upper part of the umbrella shaft. This is handy for shirts or bags of cold beverages – which can hang up out of the sun and off the hot sand. BeachBUB also has a tray system you can buy separately, with cup holders that attach to the shaft using a smart pole collar. But check the size of the cup space as some have reported it being too small to fit average size drinks.
BEACHBUB’s Beach Umbrella Easy to Get On & Off the Beach
When it comes to beach umbrellas, a common dealbreaker can be the difficulty of moving it. That is, if a beach umbrella lacks a comfortable shoulder strap or easy-to-pack bag for transportation, it may be too difficult to get your umbrella to the beach.
Fortunately, the beach umbrella from BEACHBUB has both. It comes with a large bag that features a reinforced bottom, and a padded strap and comfortable handle. Together with the umbrella, they weigh 9 pounds and can fit in the trunk of any car.
Great Beach Umbrella Performance
Perhaps the most important characteristic of a beach umbrella is how well it can protect you from harmful UV rays. With a UPF 50+ rating, the BEACHBUB All-in-One beach umbrella will help keep you out of the sun’s harmful rays. Though make sure you use sunscreen and cover up as well.
This isn’t where its ease of use ends. The setup and the takedown don’t take long. Once you dig the hole for the pole with the Sand Gopher Tool and then fill the base for the umbrella with sand with the included shovel, All-In-One beach umbrella will stay put up until you decide to take it down and head back home.
BEACHBUB Beach Umbrella Price/Quality
You might be wondering now — what’s the caveat? The price is high and you don’t get all the features you love with a beach umbrella. For example, the BEACHBUB umbrella’s height can’t be adjusted and it can’t be tilted. For a tilting beach umbrella, check out the RIO or Tommy Bahama beach umbrellas. And if you need shade for more than 1-2 people it is worth considering a beach canopy.
The good news is that the price tag is justified. Not only is the quality and performance of the umbrella great, but the manufacturer also offers a 3-year protection plan and a 3-year frame warranty. The base unit alone is covered by a lifetime warranty.
For beach umbrellas, these are great guarantees and show you’ll have this umbrella for the long haul.
If you’re looking to make a long-term investment that will pay off sooner than later, purchasing the BeachBUB All-in-One beach umbrella is a smart decision. It’s made from good-quality materials, it doesn’t lack essential features, and it’ll sure to last you a long time. There’s not much else to wish for.

Frequently asked questions
Some beach umbrellas come with a tilting mechanism that allows you to always be in the shade. Let’s face it — no one wants to be under the sun all the time, and this is where tilting comes in handy.
In the case of the BeachBUB’s All-in-One beach umbrella, there’s no tilt. You would have to relocate the umbrella every time the shade escapes from you which can be annoying if you spend long hours at the beach. If, however, this isn’t you — this shouldn’t be a dealbreaker.
The good news is that the BeachBUB umbrella protects you not only from the sun but also from the wind. It’s tough enough to withstand winds up to 35MPH which makes it the perfect beach accessory to take with you no matter the weather.
To install the BeachBUB umbrella, lay the tarp flat on the sand, dig a small hole using the BeachBUB sand gopher, and insert the bottom pole. You should be able to connect the 2 wings and form a pouch that you would then fill halfway with sand and attach the 3d wing.
After that, finish filling the base with the sand and ensure that all sides are firm so that your umbrella doesn’t fly away. Lastly, insert the umbrella into the base and enjoy a relaxing, sunburn-free day at the beach.
When buying a beach umbrella, there are a few things you should consider. One of them is the size of the umbrella (6-7 inches in diameter is ideal), the other one is the amount of sun protection it gives (UPF 50+ is the best), and the last one is the ease of use.
That is, if the beach umbrella you’ve laid your eyes on has a large screw auger on the bottom, this means that it won’t have any trouble staying put even in the windiest conditions. And if there’s a carry-on bag that comes with it, you’ll have an easy time transporting it from A to B.
Many tend to overlook this factor, but the color of the beach umbrella directly affects how well it’s going to protect you from the sun. Keep in mind that dark and bright colors absorb more UV than pale and pastel colors. This is important because the more UV rays are absorbed, the safer your skin will be.
