Even though professional athletes aren’t the primary target audience of Terramar heated socks, these socks work well as entry-level ski socks for beginner skiers, and as winter socks for homebodies.
Offering good warmth to the area that needs it most, – toes – they are a good choice for first-time heated socks buyers who are tired of putting on several pairs of socks to prevent their feet from freezing.
The carbon-ceramic heating element is encapsulated in a padded area that doesn’t interfere with comfort while walking. It’s reliable, energy-efficient, and relatively long-lasting.
The construction of the socks is soft and snug – the inside has a springy feel to it and the cuff is stretchy enough to prevent heat from escaping. And while it’s not recommended to throw Terramar socks in the washing machine, you can get away with hand washing them from time to time to keep them looking and feeling fresh.
