The Venture Pal is a best-seller on Amazon because it’s a simple bag that doesn’t cost very much.
Originally it was described as a waterproof bag (a claim we put to the test), it seemed to promise to be everything for everyone. It’s not.
With a 35 or 40 liter volume (small variations exist in pocket design between the two), this is a utilitarian bag for everyday use that will be able to cope with mildly wet conditions and the abuse of a school or work life, daily commute.
We’re not going to present it any awards for quality, but it deserves a high grade for just being a simple bag. One that can also fold up and be packed away.

A Packable, Cheap and Functional Pack
If budget is high on your priority list, then the Venture Pal 40L Backpack won’t disappoint. That’s simply because the bag is so inexpensive and delivers on the basic principles of simply being a decent enough backpack.
The backpack is designed with multiple pockets so you can keep your stuff organized. And, this packable bag can be folded for use as an extra backpack or for when not in use.
It’ll last for extended periods of time. We’ve not tested for more than a 4-month period, but it held up without any straps breaking, etc. It also features a decent weatherproof, DWR outer material for the minimal amount of protection
In general, the Venture backpack is worth it when not compared to premium brands. Comfort and function at a low-price is what you’ll get here.
